FOOD A D LIMITED operates the NutriBudget mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices. By using the App, you agree to the terms described here.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect no personal data whatsoever.
NutriBudget operates entirely on your device. No account is required. No data is transmitted to any server. No analytics, advertising, or tracking tools are included in the application.
The App processes the following data exclusively on your device, in memory only, and it is never stored to disk, transmitted, or shared with anyone:
– Food item names you enter manually
– Estimated calorie values you enter manually
– Cost or price values you enter manually
– Optional body stats such as weight, height, age, sex, and activity level, used solely to calculate a local TDEE estimate on your device
– Your chosen currency preference and daily limit settings
All data you enter is held only in runtime memory. When the App is closed or the session ends, all entered data is permanently erased. There is no local database, no file storage, and no cloud sync of any kind.
2. PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST
NutriBudget requests zero permissions from the Android operating system.
We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage, network, or any other device capability. The following permissions are explicitly absent from the app:
– INTERNET: no network access of any kind
– READ_CONTACTS or WRITE_CONTACTS: no contact access
– ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION or ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: no location tracking
– CAMERA: no camera access
– READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE or WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: no file system access
– RECORD_AUDIO: no microphone access
– READ_PHONE_STATE: no device identifier access
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND SDKS
NutriBudget does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The App contains no SDKs from Google Analytics, Firebase, Meta Audience Network, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Crashlytics, Sentry, or any advertising network or monetisation platform.
The only libraries used are Google’s own open-source AndroidX and Jetpack Compose UI framework libraries, which do not independently collect or transmit data.
4. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Because we collect no personal data from any user, NutriBudget is inherently safe for users of all ages. The App does not direct marketing at children and does not collect information from children under the age of 13 or the applicable local age threshold.
5. GDPR AND UK GDPR COMPLIANCE
As no personal data as defined under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and the UK GDPR is collected, processed, or stored, FOOD A D LIMITED does not act as a Data Controller or Data Processor in relation to any user’s personal information through this App. No Data Processing Agreement is required. No lawful basis for processing personal data is claimed because no personal data is processed.
6. DATA SECURITY
Because no personal data is collected or stored, there is no data at rest to secure, no transmission to encrypt, and no breach to report. All calculations including the TDEE estimate are performed locally using standard arithmetic. No external APIs are called at any time.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s functionality changes. Any future version that collects data will prominently disclose this within the App and on the Play Store listing prior to release. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
